If you want to start making flash games but don’t know how to, this is the article for you. This is a short article with guidelines to help you on the process on making a game.

First of all you need to have the right software, which is Adobe Flash. It does cost quite a lot but is worth every penny if you know how to maximise it to its full extent. Once you have that, you are ready!

You now need to get used the program so play around on it for a bit. Now, comes a hard bit for people with less creativity, planning the game. First you need a storyline for it something brief like: a boy has to rescue princess from evil villain. Then, draw the characters out on a piece of paper and background for the game. After that, draw them on Flash and add colours, make them look how you want them to.

This is the most challenging part of making the game, the code! Code is called actionscript in Flash. To learn code and other stuff, go on websites like Flashkit, which has many tutorials on how to make certain games, coding, drawing etc. Also, my website has some tutorials on specific areas of flash such as buttons, so check that out. For beginners, this could take very long, don’t get disheartened, just keep trying and don’t give up and once you finish this, you will feel ecstatic.

After this, you have pretty much made your game, all you need now is menu, which is basically, a play button, links to other places if you want to put them in and credits. Now, just distribute and let people play your game. If you want to take your flash games further and make money out of them, read this article on Flash Games – 10 Ways To Make Money From Creating Them!

Thanks for reading this article and hope you have fun making flash games!

Games are the latest craze of the preteens and teens. All children who can operate computer love to play and enjoy games. This is the reason why there are so many games available in the market. In fact today kids wait for a new game to be launched so they can enjoy the games together with their friends and learn the keys and short-keys.

Gaming started with simple yet interesting games like the snake, pinball, etc. These simple yet interesting games made it possible to raise the imagination of the people who made games. Later, there came on the graphic games which were all set to provide genuine setting and incomparable fun. The earliest games in the graphics category were the Wolf, Wolf2, Doom, Doom2, and the later versions.

Today games are all the more sophisticated and involve a lot of graphics, not just that they are more ready to be in sync with the player than the games were ever before; you can choose the weapons, the difficulty levels, the settings, color, etc. This has made games more interactive and interesting for the young generation. More often that not your will find your young one discussing what he found hidden away in the secret chamber of a game and what short key did he use for that.

Games they might be online or offline allow the children enough enjoyment, online games are more competitive and children can compete with people from all over the Internet. You can also play games for money, where the winner ends up winning bid, this is a great source of income for all those who have gained an expertise. In fact the gaming industry online has reached the mark of several million dollars each year.

Gaming industry has reportedly seen the highest throughout the history as more and more people enjoy the pleasure of being able to enjoy from their homes. Scientists have suggested frequent gaming might be able to increase the reflex action speed as well as the precision, since most of the games today expect you to make hits more precisely than ever before.

Games have their own benefits; these might not be so good for your child’s health. Children require going outdoor and enjoying growing up with a lot of activity. You will require to monitor whether your child spends time outdoors, if not it might result in obesity and we all are well acquainted how harmful to your child’s health obesity can be.

Some games manufacturers have unscrupulously tried to involve adult content in the games; therefore, it is very necessary that parents should monitor the games which their children play. You will find adult content especially in action games, so you need to be aware of it.

Gaming and games per se, is not at all harmful, in fact it is enjoyable and requires use of precision and concentration, but also make sure that you child completes his study with the same concentration as he plays his games.

A, That’s So Raven party will be a great theme for any girl who watches the television show. You’ll want to add some interest to the party with a couple of fun party games too.

The first game can be a simple True or False Trivia Game about That’s So Raven. The website has lots of information you can use for questions. Think about questions geared towards stuff the party guests are likely to know, such as the name of the star who plays Raven, and what happened in so and so episode.

To make the game more interesting you can have the group separate into two teams and make them face each other. At the end of the group place two chairs (make them sturdy) and label one the true chair and one the false chair. You will act as the game host and ask the true/false questions of each pair of players who are facing each other. Do this one pair at a time. When you finish asking the question about That’s So Raven the pair must run towards the two chairs at the end of the group and sit in the one that correlates to the correct answer. Sometimes they both head for the same chair leading to a bit of a scramble. However that doesn’t mean that’s the right chair and the person who has to sit in the other chair may just end up getting the point for the right answer! After you tally points the two players head to the end of their group’s lines and the next two players move forward.

The next game is just a fun word game called, “Traveler’s Alphabet’ to test the noodles of your guests at this That’s So Raven party. Have the players sit in a circle. Each player will take turns asking the person to their left two questions, ‘Where are you going?’ and ‘What will you do when you get there?’ The first person to be asked these questions must reply to each with only words that begin with the letter A. If they succeed in doing this without tripping up or taking more than ten seconds they get to ask the next person to their left the same two questions, to which this person must reply with only words that begin with the letter ‘B’ and so on. For example, “Where are you going?’, ‘Barbados’, “What will you do when you get there?” ‘Baffle Barbadian Boys.”

If you trip up you are out of the game and the circle gets smaller, this lasts until only one person is left the winner. Give them a prize that fits the That’s So Raven theme.
